From Dream to Reality: My Feature in Stamford Magazine

Moodboard with soft textures, an African sculpture, and rich materials. Text reads "A Visual Ode to Transition." Calm vibe.
Naïka Andre, founder of NJA Interiors, featured on the cover of Stamford Magazine’s March Real Estate Issue.

Hi friends!

There are moments in your career that make you stop, smile, and reflect on how far you’ve come—and being featured in the March issue of Stamford Magazine is absolutely one of those moments for me.

I’m honored to be included in the Stamford Magazine’s Real Estate edition, which celebrates professionals who are shaping the way we live, design, and think about home in Stamford, CT. Seeing my face on the cover and a two-page spread dedicated to NJA Interiors was a surreal experience—one that filled me with immense gratitude and pride.

Decorative items on a table: fabric swatches, wooden sculpture, plant, a book titled "The Strength in Our Scars," and various trinkets.

A Full-Circle Moment

This feature is extra special because of where we shot it—Monger’s Market, an antique mall in Bridgeport, CT. Years ago, I worked at Hidden Galleries, an antique mall in Stamford, CT. It was owned by John Hiden, the same creative mind behind Monger’s Market. That part-time job in my 20s fueled my love for antiques, storytelling through design, and all things vintage. Fast forward to today, and I’m standing in that very space, but now as the owner of my own interior design firm, featured on the cover of Stamford Magazine. Life has a beautiful way of bringing things full circle, and this moment is one I’ll never forget.

Even more special? I grew up in Stamford, CT and am still a proud resident today. This city has shaped so much of my journey. To be featured in a magazine that highlights my hometown is truly an honor.
