PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located in Bloomfield, NJ, on a beautiful cul-de-sac, NJA Interiors led the full-service design of this primary bedroom for a repeat client. A high-level executive and mother of three, she wanted to create a luxurious, feminine retreat that felt truly her own after her divorce. The existing space lacked personality and warmth, with furniture chosen by her ex-husband that no longer reflected her style.

To craft an empowering yet serene atmosphere, we reimagined the furniture layout for better flow, reoriented the bed for a fresh perspective, and added a cozy reading nook for relaxation. A moody Greige paint enveloped the walls and ceiling, enhancing the cocooning effect. A grand upholstered headboard, elegant adjustable sconces, and a sculptural ceiling fan balanced beauty with function. Thoughtful details, like an adjustable bed base for work-from-bed ease, ensured the space met her lifestyle needs. The result is a sophisticated sanctuary that embodies her strength, elegance, and fresh start.
