Measuring Guide
How To Take Room Measurements
-Draw the approximate shape of the room.
-Measure the overall width and length of
-Mark location of outlets
-Mark the approximate location of any architectural features (ie. windows, doors, fireplace, bookshelf, etc.)
-Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be perfect the room.
-Measure ceiling height
-Measure each wall separately making sure to include measurements for each wall area, door, windows, and architectural features.
Photography Tips
How To Take Photos
-Take photos during the day
-Remove clutter
-Take a photo from every angle (each corner and each wall) of the room
-Try to capture part of the floor and ceiling in each photo
-Take a photo of any furniture you want to keep in the room
