Hi beautiful people!
This mood board is a reflection of transformation—the hopeful moment when winter waves goodbye, making way for spring. It’s a season of subtle shifts: softened textures, organic forms, and a palette that bridges earthy warmth with fresh new growth.
I’m honored that this flat lay was featured on Business of Home, where I had the opportunity to showcase my inspiration and design perspective. This collection of materials and textures tells a story of emergence—capturing that quiet beauty found in transition.
Each material, texture, and object was carefully selected to embody this moment of renewal:

THE ELEMENTS THAT TELL THE STORY
Each material, texture, and object was carefully selected to embody this moment of renewal:
1. POTTING SHED FABRIC IN SPRING BY VILLA NOVA
I love the abstract floral pattern on this cotton linen fabric. It’s lightweight enough for window treatments, and also works well upholstered on an accent piece such as a chair or pillows.
2. ANTIQUE GHANAIAN ASHANTI FERTILITY DOLL
A meaningful hand-carved piece, this wooden fertility doll celebrates cultural beauty and tradition. It was a special gift, making it even more treasured.
3. WALNUT WOOD TAMBOUR BY SURFACING SOLUTIONS
This material adds depth and movement, whether on an accent wall or custom furniture. Its texture enhances a space with warmth and dimension.
4. ARREL SPECKLED RUG IN FAWN BY RUGS USA
Crafted from Indian wool and infused with a hint of viscose, this rug offers a luxurious feel underfoot, making it the perfect foundation for any space.
5. SATIN POTHOS PLANT
This pothos is one of my favorites, as it’s easy to grow. The leaves are heart-shaped and have a slightly shiny finish, adding a subtle luster to a space.
6. SHEER WINDOW FABRIC IN MOON AND WOVEN WOOD WINDOW TREATMENT IN COCOA BY EVERHEM
Woven roman shades add a lovely natural texture to a space. Add sheer backing for extra privacy.
7. THE STRENGTH IN OUR SCARS BY BIANCA SPARACINO
This beautifully written book offers comfort and inspiration. It’s a reminder of resilience and self-growth.
8. DRIED HYDRANGEAS FROM A FRIEND’S GARDEN
The wonderful thing about hydrangeas is that they dry beautifully, allowing you to enjoy them for extended periods.
9. TIGER EYE WALLPAPER IN SAGE BY ESO STUDIO
The organic pattern of this wallpaper reminds me of hand-dyed shibori fabric. Its soft tones bring a serene, natural feel to a space.
10. CANDLESTICK CANDLE HOLDER FROM HOMEGOODS
These glass candlestick holders reflect light beautifully. I love grouping them together to make everyday moments like sipping tea feel special.
11. ETERNAL FABRIC IN MINT BY OPUZEN
This boucle fabric is soft, textured and perfect for cozy upholstery.
12. CHENILLE FABRIC IN 1611 BY KRAVET DESIGN
This luxe chenille fabric feels incredibly soft and plush. It’s a great way to add sophistication to a room.
13. MINI SEA TURTLE BY DAUM FRANCE
Everyone needs a little crystal in their lives. This adorable turtle works great as a paperweight!
14. ENGINEERED HARDWOOD FLOORING IN CIGAR BY RIVA SPAIN
This timeless wood finish has a rich grain and warm tones that make it a grounding element in any design.
15. POISE HAND MIRROR IN BRASS BY FERM LIVING
A sculptural yet functional piece, this brass mirror adds a touch of elegance. It’s perfect as a decorative accent.
This mood board is a reflection of the quiet beauty found in transition. Now that spring is here, we can embrace renewal, evolution, and the slow unfolding of change.
